Old Times Sake by ice1906 Can we say "throwback"? While typing, I was thinking of songs that people have not heard in a long time! Believe so or not, this song came to mind (via lyrics)! I have not heard this song in over a decade and I just started singing some of the lyrics to it, and I had to play for you guys!
"Old times' sake" was one of the many songs featured on the 1994 "Above the Rim" soundtrack.  Sweet Sable made a song that most (in urban areas) can relate to! Her voice, the lyrics, the 90's "thug" attire and the beat made this R&B song memorable!
A known factoid: Prior to recording Old time's sake, Sweet Sable recorded under the name Ceybil Jefferies and was very popular in the 90's House music genre. I tired to find some updated information about Sweet Sable, and I came across this flyer (via Facebook). I hope that all is well with her.
