What you know about: 90's Hip-hop Camp Lo- Luchini AKA This Is It + More

Ok, so did you ever have a time in your life when a song you have not heard in awhile just come to mind, and you can't stop singing it! Recently, the 90's hip hop song, "Luchini AKA This Is It" came to mind, and I had to watch the music video (oh the memories).

In 1997, Bronx hip hop artists Geechi Suede (Saladine Wallace) and Sonny Chiba (Salahadeen Wilds) collectively known as Camp Lo released their debut album Uptown Saturday Nights with the timeless hit "Luchini AKA This Is It"! Their lyrical wordplay and their ode to the 70's (theme which you can hear on their debut album) on "Luchini" garnered this single as one of my favorite 90's hip hop songs!

What are Camp Lo up to? Still making music, Camp Lo alongside producer Pete Rock recently released 80 blocks from Tiffany Part 2! The mixtape received five stars rating with positive reviews! The mixtape has collabs with hip hop artists such as M.O.P, Talib Kweli, Ab-Soul and more... Check out the music video for Luchini AKA This Is It and make sure you cop their current mixtape for free at DatPiff.com!
